Samantha Lammert is a film and television actress with a background in theatre and improv. Originally from rural-suburbia Missouri, Samantha studied film and television at the New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts right after graduating high school. After completing her studies, she moved to Chicago where she received her Bachelor in Fine Arts for Acting at the University of Illinois at Chicago. There she worked closely with instructors such as Yasen Peyankov, Claire Simon, Tanera Marshall, Derrick Sanders, and Richard Corely—honing her skills in the Meisner and Alexander techniques, accent work, and improv. Among this time she had her breakout role as Infanta Juana in the play Hunchback of Seville, as well as her first film appearance in Torture the Flesh. After graduating with honors, Samantha moved to Arizona where she began commercial work with companies like Voyage Pro and preparing for her move to Los Angeles where she currently resides. Samantha is currently working primarily in film/television and commercials, though her first love will always be the stage. Never one to sit still for long, she films a book review account called Books and Cats and writes an anecdotal blog called For Real That Happened in her free time.

Other than her impeccable time management, Samantha’s special skills include dialects (IPA Trained, British RP3, Posh London, Southern, Barbie), stage combat (weapons, hand to hand), improv, boxing, and has 13 years of dance experience (including hip hop, pom, latin ballroom, and pole dancing).
